VGS electric guitar Stage One Pro EVERTUNE
These Evertune bridge systems work on a purely mechanical basis and automatically keep the guitar in tune after being adjusted once. The basic functions of the Evertune systems are based on trigonometry and rudimentary physics. Each string, when properly tuned, has a constant pulling force. The Evertune system uses a spring which, when correctly adjusted, counteracts the respective string with exactly the same tensile force. Changes in the tensile force, for example due to stretching of the material (change in temperature) or slight detuning of the mechanics, are now automatically compensated for. The Evertune is divided into six segments with six individual springs, with one segment responsible for each string. If one string breaks, the tuning of the others is not affected. External influences such as cold or heat are compensated for by the system. There are 3 setting options available:
Backstop: The individual string saddles are in the back stop position, the system is out of order and works like any other bridge.
Sweetspot: The string saddles are in the middle floating position, the system is activated. Even bends are corrected by the system and there are no changes in tone when the strings are pulled. This is particularly interesting when recording rhythm guitars in the studio. Multiple doubling of riffs is possible without intonation fluctuations
Bendstop: The mechanics of the individual strings are turned until the tuning of the respective string jumps to the next higher note. Then turn it back a quarter of a turn and you are in bendstop mode. The system is still active, but you can play bends in the usual way.
As long as you work with the same string gauge, you don't have to make any changes when changing strings. If you change to a different strength, the springs must be readjusted. This can be easily adjusted from the outside of the string saddle using the included Allen key. Evertune systems work without sensitive electronic components and therefore without a power supply.
