The Sterling by Music Man John Petrucci JP150 MN Teal is based on the well-known Music Man JP15 and offers almost all the features of this exclusive electric guitar at an extremely tempting price. The body is made of mahogany with a flamed maple top, while the neck is made of roasted maple. Two humbuckers on the amplifier with switchable boost also promise versatile sounds. High-quality hardware in the form of a modern tremolo and locking mechanics rounds off the features of the SBMM JP150.

Sterling by Music Man JP150: Flamed and Roasted Maple

High-quality ingredients are used to construct the Sterling by Music Man JP150 John Petrucci Signature. The strongly contoured body is made of mahogany with a top made of curly maple , whose intense grain is elegantly highlighted by the transparent teal finish. The roasted maple neck, which is easy to play thanks to the “D” profile, is also attached with five screws . Due to the thermal treatment of the maple wood in a vacuum, this has enormous stability and is insensitive to climate fluctuations.

Two humbuckers with active boost, high-quality hardware

The electrical tone conversion of the Sterling by Music Man JP150 John Petrucci Signature electric guitar is carried out by two hot-wound humbuckers , which skilfully showcase both fat riffs and complex solos with their tight sound, and present chords and melodies harmoniously in the clean channel. The active electronics offer the possibility of boosting the output signal by 12 dB and eliciting additional gain and volume reserves from the guitar amplifier. In addition, the electric guitar is equipped with the Sterling Modern tremolo , which, in conjunction with the precise locking mechanics , enables detuning-free whammy bar inserts.

Auf der Suche nach einem Händer in Deutschland der noch eine Cort KX700 Evertune auf Lager hat bin ich nach vergeblicher Suche bei den üblichen "großen" Verdächtigen über Kleinanzeigen auf eine Anzeige von ACtion Music aufmerksam geworden. Nach kurzem Austausch mit Tommy waren wir uns schnell einig und das gute Stück würde bei Ihm bestellt.
