When it comes to the classic pedals of rock music, the Tubescreamer has to be ranked right up there. At the end of the 70s, the Ibanez Tube Screamer 808 appeared, an overdrive with truly tube-like characteristics, a sensation at the time. Its successor, the TS-9, has since been found on countless pedalboards from the big names - just two prominent representatives are mentioned here: Stevie Ray Vaughn always overdriven his Fender amps with a TS and thus set a new standard for guitar sounds, and Gary Moore also got it For over 20 years he has been getting the best out of his Marshalls by driving them with a TS.

The TS is not distorted too much, but the volume is increased and the amp is tickled more. Ideal for amplifiers that don't distort too much, one step on the pedal and you have a harmoniously balanced and sustainable lead sound. The pedal comes in the classic Ibanez look of the early 80s.
