The SR5PBLTD features a stunning poplar/birdseye maple body with beautiful lamination, a roasted birdseye maple fingerboard, and a birdseye maple pickup cover. The combination gives the SR's curved body an exotic and boutique feel. The African mahogany body delivers a warm sound with rich resonance. The Atlas 15-piece Panga Panga / Maple / Paduak / Purpleheart / Walnut neck offers extreme rigidity, tonal clarity, increasing sustain and a superior attack with the roasted Birdseye Maple fingerboard. The slim handle shape allows for excellent playability with the careful premium fret edge treatment. The neck is made of KTS™ TITANIUM reinforcement rods that increase stability and ensure greater sustainability. Neck end adjustment allows you to easily adjust the neck. The MR5S bridge is the ultimate bridge for bass string isolation with a wide intonation range. Each bridge is independently and securely locked to the body to ensure maximum vibration transmission without interference. Ibanez Custom Electronics' 3-band EQ, EQ bypass switch, and 3-way mid-frequency switch provide precise tone control (250 Hz, 450 Hz, and 700 Hz). When EQ bypass is enabled, the treble control acts as a passive tone control for the instrument output. The Nordstrand™ “Big Single” single-coil pickup produces a full-bodied, powerful and aggressive sound structure while maintaining the clarity typical of single-coil pickups.
