The Evans Strata Series timpani heads feature a smooth, cream-colored coating that prevents mallet wear and improves sound. The warm sound, clear pitch and articulation of the Strata heads blend naturally with any ensemble. The Strata timpani heads are pre-strung for optimal tuning stability with a black powder-coated ring insert that provides additional strength. Available in sizes from 20 inches to 36 inches.
