Evans Heavyweight Snare Drum Heads are made from two layers of foil. The combination of two identical foils, each 0.25 mm (10 mil) thick, ensures maximum durability and increased attack without sacrificing dynamic response. The Reverse Dot increases durability, tonal focus and attack in the center of the head. The new Level 360 head collar design ensures that the head rests neatly on the shell ridge, which in turn results in better tunability, increased vocal range and an improvement in sound quality. The old problem of heads not resting properly on the shell without appropriate pressure is a thing of the past with Evans Level 360.
