With the Gold Series, Cort presents a fully solid acoustic guitar series with thermally treated ("torrified") tops and bracing. Cort calls this process “Age To Vintage,” which recreates the aging process of the blanket over the decades. Right from the start you get that wonderfully full, overtone-rich and balanced sound that you know from old, well-rehearsed instruments. The very thin UV coating of the Gold series supports the excellent vibration properties of the guitar. In addition, another important element for the best possible sound was the “Doublelock Neckjoint”, which improves vibration transmission by additionally screwing the neck to the body.
